X-Men #22
X-Men #22 (Panini France, November 2025) is a significant instalment of the first French-language anthology series dedicated to Marvel's post-Krakoa 'From the Ashes' mutant line, a publishing initiative that Panini Comics launched in January 2025 to systematically bring the entirely rebuilt X-Men franchise to French readers in near-simultaneous bimonthly format. The issue brings together a wide arc of the new mutant status quo in a single volume, spotlighting Logan grappling with unsettling recent revelations in Wolverine (2024) #9 alongside a Laura Kinney storyline that marks a turning point in her post-Wolverine identity in Laura Kinney: Wolverine (2024) #6. As part of the anthology's ongoing role in co-ordinating the sprawling post-Krakoa line for Francophone readers, it serves as a connective tissue issue that traces how the mutant world — and Logan specifically — is redefining itself after the fall of the island nation.

The X-Men (2025) Panini France series relaunched at #1 in January 2025, deliberately resetting its numbering to mark the editorial break between the Krakoa era and the new 'From the Ashes' direction established by Marvel. Panini Comics kept the same bimonthly two-issues-per-month anthology formula it had applied to prior X-Men anthology runs, offering both a standard softcover and a collector hardcover edition of 176 pages each. Issue #22 falls at the twenty-second instalment of this new run and collects eight US issues published in the autumn–winter 2024–2025 window, all presented in first French translation. Translation and lettering for the series has been handled by Studio Makma and the Elleti studio, as credited across earlier volumes.
