“Blinded by the Light Part 1”

In "Blinded by the Light Part 1," Rogue is overwhelmed by the psychic weight of a billion absorbed souls from the Hecatomb, forcing the X-Men to confront a crisis that's as much internal as it is external. With tensions rising and allies turning on one another—Cable ambushed by Gambit and Sunfire, Malice corrupting the Omega Sentinel—the team is blindsided when Mystique and Lady Mastermind orchestrate a surprise assault, culminating in a shocking moment that leaves Rogue in peril. Written by Mike Carey and brought to life by Chris Bachalo, Humberto Ramos, and a stellar team of inkers, colorists, and letterers, this landmark issue features a cover by Bachalo and Townsend, marking a pivotal chapter in the X-Men saga.
