X-mændene #2/1974
In "Vi må ødelægge..Koboltmanden," an archaeologist’s discovery of an ancient pyramid unleashes a long-buried alien threat—only to reveal the mummy was never a conqueror, but a refugee who sealed itself away to survive. Written by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber, with dynamic art by Jack Kirby and inks by Dick Ayers, this 1974 issue delivers a twisty tale of mistaken identity and cosmic isolation. The cover by Gil Kane and Frank Giacoia captures the moment of revelation with striking intensity.
