Captain Greer and his group are attacked by an island creature, which they manage to kill while Professor Keller and his group follow Sarah's clues into the alien spacecraft. They find many unique creatures in the spacecraft's hold, and one attacks Matt and they manage to save him but then it rips Dr. Temple in half. Meanwhile, Dr. Kent's infection is spreading. Captain Greer says they have to amputate but before they do, weird vegetation bursts out of Dr. Kent's legs, arms and stomach. We finish with Sarah says that just once she sure hopes that her father doesn't let her down.
