In "Die at Noon," Wyatt Earp faces a vengeful mob determined to execute him at high noon in a showdown. The issue opens with a young man brought to Earp by Mr. Clomann, who is being transformed into a gentleman through the marshal's guidance. A second story, "Gunsmoke in Cholla," features the outlaw Hack Miller, a killer who brings death and chaos to the town of Cholla, where Earp must confront him and the dangerous situation he has created.
