"The Last Notch" depicts Earp's reputation as a feared lawman with eighteen notches on his gun, as a character named Jett Blades vows to add the next one. "Ambush!" follows three notorious gunslingers—described as the deadliest in the territory—who plan to ambush a lone outlaw named Jim Banner along a canyon trail, with Earp working to intercept them and prevent the attack.
When gunslinger Harley Adams rides into the town of Paradise with his pack of hired guns, Wyatt Earp recognizes the threat and begins rallying the local townspeople to stand against the takeover. As Adams grows desperate, he sets up what he claims will be a fair one-on-one showdown with Earp—but the outlaw has no intention of fighting clean. Earp must outmaneuver Adams and his men to reclaim the town and give its honest citizens back their peace.
Wyatt Earp faces off against Jett Blaydes, a notorious gunslinger hired by the corrupt Walt Fisher to eliminate the marshal and clear the way for Fisher's crooked land schemes. When Blaydes brags that Earp will be his next notch, the marshal must outmaneuver not just a fast gun, but Fisher's web of hired killers closing in from all sides. Earp knows the only way to survive is to stay one step ahead and control when and how the final showdown takes place.
