“Year One Part Five”

In "Year One Part Five," Wonder Woman confronts the fallout of her public emergence after stopping a mall shooting, as Diana grapples with her new identity and the weight of never returning to Themyscira. With Steve’s support, she uses the Lasso of Truth to uncover that the Sear group’s mysterious leader is orchestrating a global threat with a deadly virus—while Barbara Ann deciphers the chilling clue that "Sear" is an anagram for Ares. Written by Greg Rucka and illustrated with striking precision by Nicola Scott, this pivotal chapter deepens Diana’s journey in the modern world, with colors by Romulo Fajardo Jr. and letters by Jodi Wynne, all anchored by Scott’s dynamic cover art.
