Wolverine: The Best There Is #1

Feb 2011 · Marvel · 3.99 USD
“Contagion Chapter One: Impulsion and Whim”

Wolverine: The Best There Is #1 kicks off with a tense, introspective ride as Logan recounts a brutal clash with the Griz, revealing the story behind the shirt he's wearing. The journey leads him to a pulsing disco where Winsor's sinister plan unfolds—infusing the Corruptor, then turning his gaze on Wolverine amid a gathering of enigmatic figures including Madcap, Scavenger, Mortigan Goth, and Yi Yang. Written by Charlie Huston and brought to life by Juan José Ryp’s stark, expressive art and Andres Mossa’s moody colors, the issue blends gritty character work with a creeping sense of dread. Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary deliver a striking cover that captures the story’s raw intensity.
