☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis collection reprints the 2022 five-issue miniseries Wolverine: Patch, which returns Logan to his time in Madripoor during the 1990s. Disguised as Patch, the eye-patched crime lord, Wolverine navigates a web of old allies and enemies, including Tyger Tiger, General Coy, and Omega Red, while confronting a threat tied to his past. The story is written by Larry Hama with art by Andrea Di Vito, capturing the gritty, espionage-tinged tone of the original Wolverine solo series set in the island nation.
In "Patches," Wolverine fights through a haze of pain and poison, brought to a hidden mutant sanctuary in Madripoor’s jungles after being struck by poisoned arrows. As Nick Fury circles above, hunting rogue Russian mutants, a new player arrives—Major Nemikova—offering a fortune to anyone who delivers them, setting the stage for a tense clash of loyalties and survival. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Andrea Di Vito, with inks by Le Beau Underwood, colors by Sebastian Cheng, and letters by Clayton Cowles, the issue’s cover by Geoff Shaw captures the storm brewing beneath the jungle canopy.
