Wolverine: Patch #1
In "Patches," Wolverine—known here as Patch—ventures into the dangerous highlands of Madripoor on a secretive S.H.I.E.L.D. mission, sent to investigate strange activity that draws him back despite orders to stay clear. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Andrea Di Vito, with inks by Le Beau Underwood and colors by Sebastian Cheng, the issue unfolds with tense precision as Patch confronts two formidable mutant adversaries, Gimel and Beth, in a confrontation that tests his resolve and instincts. Geoff Shaw’s cover captures the grit and edge of this standalone story, set in the shadow of a larger operation led by Nick Fury.
