While Wolverine runs away from battle after having his berzerker rage nullified by the High Evolutionary, Kitty, in her new cat form, leads the normally docile New Men against their predatory brothers who have been transformed by the Man-Beast. Man-Beast and High Evolutionary duke it out. Wolverine finds his courage again and returns in order to face off against the Man-Beast. Kitty is returned to her human form as the duo prepare to leave Wundagore.
