Wolverine is training Kitty to survive in the woods when he comes across a mysterious woman who seems wounded. When they are attacked by werewolves, she turns out to be one herself and bites Wolverine. Kitty, making her way through the forest, finds and helps a wounded man. Taking Logan and the man named Jack to the hospital, things get hairy as Wolverine transforms into a werewolf and Kitty is saved only by the timely intervention of the Werewolf by Night. Wolverine escapes and joins his new pack.
