Wolverine Epic Collection #14
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis Epic Collection gathers Wolverine's adventures from the early 2000s, centering on the return of the shadowy Weapon X program and its deadly director. The volume collects issues #149–162 of Wolverine's solo series, plus the 2002 Wolverine: The Origin one-shot, featuring Logan's battles against foes like Sabretooth, Omega Red, and Lady Deathstrike, while exploring his fractured past and the emergence of new threats tied to his government-created origins.
In "Family," Wolverine faces off against Mr. X in a brutal rematch, this time pushed to his limits as his captor demands he renounce his identity as "The best he is at what he does." With the berserker clawing at the surface, Logan unleashes a ferocious counterattack that turns the tide in his favor. Written by Frank Tieri and illustrated by Sean Chen, with inks by Norm Rapmund and colors by Raymund Lee, the issue delivers a raw, high-stakes clash grounded in personal pride and legacy. The cover, by Sean Chen and Danny Miki, captures the intensity of the moment.

Wolverine is captured by Mr. X who is trying to force him to sign a legal document renouncing the claim to being "The best he is at what he does" (since Mr. X handily beat him in a fight last issue). Logan lets the berserker out and fights Mr. X once again with decidedly better results.
