Wolverine, still on his Hydra mission, tries to manipulate Rachel into killing the President of the U.S. using Cerebra. She turns the tables, however, and Wolverine finds himself on the run from the X-Men. During the chase, somebody dies. Wolverine is taken down and put into SHIELD custody. With the failure of Strucker's plan, the power base of Hydra shifts to the Gorgon.
