"Kangaroo Court" depicts soldiers pressed into service as guards at a POW camp in Monty, Japan, who find themselves overwhelmed during a mass escape attempt and must make difficult decisions under threat from the prisoners. "Marine Saves White Horse Hill" follows Private Monty Hall on the Chowan Front near Tokyo, where circumstances force him to become a hero when he must hold a strategic position. A backup story depicts two Marines reading about the Trojan Horse and devising a plan to build a wooden horse to infiltrate an enemy town and launch a surprise attack on hostile forces within.
