One story depicts a sickly man named Flint who recovers mysteriously in a villa and becomes tormented by his wife Sylvia, who consults with a sinister figure about choosing which door will bring Flint his death. Another tale involves the ship "Black Swan," where Captain Dark makes a blood pact to ensure the vessel's prosperity, leading to a supernatural curse. A third story, "The Dead Won't Die," follows a criminal named Rod who attempts to flee after a heist, only to be pursued by an avenger determined to track him down and exact revenge.
In "The Toreador and the Demons," a proud Spaniard named Manuelo dreams of glory as a bullfighter—until a witch grants his wish at a terrible price: bloodshed. When he grows weary of the bargain, he kills her, only to face her vengeance in the form of a monstrous bull.
In "House of the Vampire," four GIs seeking shelter in a remote German castle find themselves trapped in a nightmarish ambush. As the walls close in and the shadows move with hunger, each man falls to the vampire’s deadly grasp—until one remains, fighting to survive.
In "Spirits of Doom," a fugitive from justice stumbles upon a mysterious fountain said to grant eternal youth. As he dares to use its power to alter his appearance, he awakens ancient spirits who have no intention of letting him escape — not even from the past he’s trying to outrun.
In "Devil's Sketch Book," the ruthless gangster Marty Hutton discovers a mysterious tome that grants him terrifying power to eliminate his rivals—only to find the magic he wields begins to consume him. As he rises to become the new crime czar, the lines between master and monster blur, and the book’s dark influence starts to take a personal toll.
