Takeru uses the Witchblade to battle Mason and his U.S. war ships in retaliation for blowing up her village. Kou and Sakurai race to the scene to try and stop her before she destroys the whole Pacific fleet. Fulfilling his promise to Takeru, Kou uses his demon hunter blade to cut off the arm that bears the Witchblade. With the Witchblade madness over, Kou takes Takeru back to their village to heal.
