Witchblade #80
In "Witch Hunt Part 1," Sara lies in a coma as Jake watches by her side, torn between worry and the growing sense that something unnatural is at play. When special investigator Patrick Gleason arrives to piece together the mystery, he’s drawn into a web of quiet suspicion—first by an eerie elderly Asian man, then a cryptic curio shop run by the enigmatic Curator. The tension mounts as Sara finally stirs awake, leaving questions hanging in the air. Written by Ron Marz and illustrated by Michael Choi, with inks by Joe Weems, Matt Banning, and Sal Regla, colors by Brian Buccellato and Darko Krsulic, and letters by Robin Spehar, Dreamer Design, and Dennis Heisler, this issue’s cover by Michael Choi captures the eerie stillness of a moment just before the storm breaks.
