In Witchblade #51, Sara faces a devastating temptation when a powerful demon offers her a life where her father never died and she’s a schoolteacher—on the condition she hands over the Witchblade. Meanwhile, Ian is presented with a similar offer to surrender Excalibur, forcing him into a moral clash that culminates in a painful revelation: to defeat the demon, he must confess to Sara that he was the one who killed her father. Written by Paul Jenkins and illustrated by Brian Ching, Martin Montiel, and D-Tron, with vibrant colors by Steve Firchow, Val Staples, John Starr, and Monica Rodriguez, and lettering by Dreamer Design’s Robin Spehar and Dennis Heisler, the issue’s cover by Brian Ching and D-Tron captures the tension with haunting precision.
