Wild Frontier #6

This is an anthology issue containing three frontier-themed stories. The lead story follows Dan'l Boone as he becomes embroiled in a plot involving a food shipment theft at a frontier fort; after weeks of hunger and suspicion, Boone and a character named Clem Barker devise a scheme to catch the thief, leading to a confrontation with armed men. A second story involves a publisher named Lewis Dell who learns of a sensational scoop about a notorious gunman shooting a rancher and races to report the story to the papers. The issue concludes with "Big Bow and Little Arrow in the Big Wager," a humorous tale in which the two Native American characters engage in boastful storytelling and comic misadventures.
