Wild Bill Hickok pursues bank robbers who have fled Cowtown with stolen loot and a lone wolf named Jingles in tow. When Hickok catches up with the gang, he confronts an ex-deputy named Fatsoo who claims Jingles has information about the robbers' whereabouts. Hickok must determine whether Fatsoo is trustworthy and whether to keep Jingles with him or send him away as the situation escalates toward a final confrontation.
