Matt Murdock tries to save his girlfriend's father from being gunned down by thugs and is killed. This leads to his father throwing a boxing match and not being killed, Foggy working as a lawyer for the Kingpin and Elektra joining SHIELD. Matt is resurrected by the the Hand and is groomed to become their leader. When the Advocate and his Hand destroy a helicarrier, Elektra seeks out Matt's old martial arts teacher Stick and begins to train with him. She joins his team of fighters and hunts down the Hand. Elektra battles Matt and uses knowledge of his blindness and hyper-senses to take him out.
