Mother-One has been taken over by a hostile mind and is currently sitting in a secret space station with launch codes for every nuclear weapon in the world. She allows Wetworks to enter the station as the entity inside of her has plans for their golden symbiotes. Wetworks is able to free Mother-One from the influence of the Caine program which was originally developed by Waering. Feeling that Waering's many secrets and lies have hurt his friends far too much, Dane quits and takes the Wetworks team with him.
