Western Gunfighters #29
In "The Menace of the Mask Maker," Red Hawk faces a personal trial when doubt creeps in during a buffalo hunt, prompting him to consider leaving his tribe due to his age. But when tribal leader Aloysius Kare stakes the hunting grounds on a duel between Red Hawk and his son, the Apache Kid, the elder warrior must prove his worth in a fight that tests both honor and legacy. With dynamic art by Werner Roth and striking cover work by Gil Kane, this 1975 Western Gunfighters tale blends tradition, pride, and the weight of heritage in a story that lingers long after the final page.
