An anthology featuring multiple Western crime stories. "Lariat Lucy: Mystery of Ghost Ledge" by R. Morton follows Lucy and her fiancé Jim to a remote location where gunshots ring out near Steeple Rock, leading them to investigate mysterious occurrences around the area. Another story involves Wilma West, who becomes entangled in a scheme when a madman gives her an Indian torture and a map leading to buried treasure, which an interested bystander overhears and uses to pursue the wealth. A third story centers on Six-Gun Smith, who encounters a mysterious job posting for "easy money doing light work" at the mayor's office, only to discover the position is actually for a hangman—a role he reluctantly accepts despite moral reservations.
