In "The Man from the Moon," a man is taken from Earth by alien beings from the moon and transformed into a robotic being to endure the lunar environment. Over a century later, he returns to a ruined Earth, where the remnants of humanity have devolved into beastmen. Facing a world beyond recognition, he chooses to return to the moon, leaving behind the past he once knew.
