Weird Science-Fantasy #1
"The Children" is a standout tale from Weird Science-Fantasy #1 (1982), featuring a chillingly original premise by Ray Bradbury and Al Feldstein, brought to life with striking art by Al Williamson and inks by Angelo Torres and Roy Krenkel. In this eerie, time-bending story, a wealthy hunter and his guide are transported 60 million years into the past to hunt a T-Rex—only to find themselves facing a far more unsettling threat than any dinosaur. The cover, a bold, dynamic piece by Wally Wood, captures the story’s unsettling tone perfectly.
