A brief origin of Areala is told, then we fast forward to present day and witness the training of two modern day Warrior Nuns. Shannon the better of the two receives an assignment to New York city. Shotgun Mary a defrocked Warrior Nun battles a cyber demon and rescues a child that was to be morphed into another cyber demon. A messenger from Lillith meets Shannon to warn her of the coming Civil war in Hades, and the possible repercussions to her parish.
