Kane crash-lands on a French airfield under German assault, then leads a group of combat-ready men back to England in an Anson. As he crosses the Channel, he’s ambushed—blinded in the attack, he fights to keep the plane aloft with only instinct guiding him.

In the wake of Pearl Harbor, Sergeant Pilot Len Wright prepares to return home after training, unaware that Nazi sympathizers have planted a bomb on his train. As the locomotive nears its destination, the ghost of Len’s father—visible in the cockpit of his old S.E.5—appears to warn him of the danger.
