Chensu hates the US forces and allies himself with the Chinese when they occupy Motang-Po. Chensu leads a scout party to find the nearby US forces, but the scouting Chinese are killed. Returning to the village, Chensu finds the Chinese executing villagers. Realizing his mistake, Chensu steals grenades and destroys the Chinese forces fortified within the village's temple, dying himself in the process. The villagers later rebuild the temple but never learn of Chensu's change of heart and think he died a traitor.
