A soldier undertakes a dangerous mission to set a fuse on a Nazi warship in Vietnamese waters, narrowly escaping enemy fire and executing the destruction of the vessel. The story concludes with American forces discovering the destroyed enemy ship and celebrating the soldier's successful completion of his objective.

Nazi Victory
8 pp · War

An American light cruiser shadows Hitler's secret weapon, the Wilhelmschaaf, a devastating battleship wreaking havoc across the Atlantic and Caribbean—but when the German warship slips into a fortified harbor, Captain Bullard realizes conventional firepower won't be enough. A daring plan emerges: three Navy frogmen will slip beneath the armored vessel under cover of darkness to plant explosives where guns cannot reach, in a race against time and Nazi sentries to strike a blow that could turn the tide of war.

Desert Duel
6 pp · War

A hot-blooded American fighter pilot locks horns with a cunning Nazi ace over the North African desert in 1942—first in the air where their planes clash, then again when circumstances force a brutally personal reckoning. With ammunition running low and both pilots desperate, this aerial duel becomes something far more primitive and satisfying than any dogfight could be.

The War Beneath the Sea
3 pp · War

During World War II, the struggle for control of the seas played out in deadly fashion—from Hitler's U-boats laying mines in British harbors to Italian naval divers infiltrating Allied anchorages and U.S. Navy underwater demolition teams dismantling enemy defenses in the Pacific. This account examines the innovative and perilous tactics that shaped submarine and underwater warfare across the globe, revealing how combat beneath the waves became as crucial to victory as any battle on land.

Viet Nam Objective
8 pp · War

A soldier tasked with clearing a village north of Saigon watches his actions destroy the local schoolhouse, an act that haunts him as he sees the village children left without a place to learn. Determined to make amends, he persuades his platoon to help rebuild the school—and in doing so, transforms the villagers' fear and suspicion into genuine alliance. When the Viet Cong strike to punish the village's cooperation, Waller and his unit stand alongside the people they've come to know, proving that sometimes the smallest acts of rebuilding carry more weight than any battle.
