Wambi, Jungle Boy #8

Wambi and his animal companions face capture by hunters who have imprisoned the elephant Tawn in a cage. After Wambi is bound and taken prisoner by the hunters, a small pygmy elephant becomes separated from its mother, prompting Wambi and his animal allies to pursue the hunters through the jungle. Meanwhile, the hunters hold Wambi captive at their settlement while searching for a missing girl on a boat, and Wambi encounters various jungle creatures including an eagle named Aquillo and a leopard as he attempts to escape and reunite the separated animals.
