Walt Disney Uncle Scrooge #47
In "The Thrifty Spendthrift," Donald Duck’s latest scheme takes a wildly unexpected turn when he acquires a hypnotic ray from a scientist, hoping to exploit Scrooge’s frugality. But when a misfired projection shows Scrooge a picture of a dog instead of Donald, the miserly uncle goes into full spending frenzy—buying every gift from "The Twelve Days of Christmas" for the canine. Written, drawn, and inked by Carl Barks, this classic tale of mistaken identity and comedic excess is brought to life with the artist’s signature detail and charm, all on a cover by Barks himself.
