“Dangerous Disguise”

In "Dangerous Disguise," Carl Barks delivers a classic tale of espionage and mistaken identity as Donald Duck and the ducks race to intercept a secret message meant for the glamorous spy Madame Triple-X. After a chaotic train journey to Chiliburgeria, Donald finds himself impersonating the flamboyant bullfighter Donaldo el Quacko in a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse. With Carl Barks handling every aspect of the story—from writing and art to inks and letters—this 1977 issue is a masterclass in comic storytelling, all wrapped in a cover by Barks himself.
