Walt Disney's Comics #10 (142)
In "Borderline Hero," Mickey Mouse’s loyal Pluto is left in charge of guarding a pile of lumber while Horace builds a cabin at the lake—only to be sidetracked by the antics of Chip 'n Dale. When thieves sneak in and steal the lumber, Pluto’s quick thinking and determination help turn the tide, proving even a distracted guard can be a hero. Written by Don Christensen and brought to life with energetic art by Paul Murry, this 1958 adventure captures the classic charm of Disney’s comic strip at its best, with Murry’s dynamic pencils and inks defining every moment on both page and cover.
