Walt Disney's Christmas Parade #5
In "The Thrifty Spendthrift," Donald Duck’s latest scheme takes a delightfully chaotic turn when he acquires a hypnotic ray from a scientist, hoping to manipulate Scrooge into generosity—only to accidentally trigger a full-blown holiday spree. When a projected slide misfires, Scrooge ends up buying every gift from "The Twelve Days of Christmas" for a dog, leading to a hilariously extravagant chain of events. Written and illustrated by Carl Barks, with coloring by Summer Hinton and lettering by Garé Barks, this 2008 Gemstone issue features a cover by Paul Murry and Rick Keene, with inks by Don MacLaughlin and Rick Keene.
