On a routine patrol, Lance encounters a robeast, and the Red Lion is badly damaged. The rest of the Voltron Force go on the offensive and attack the robeast but are unable to form Voltron. Coran consults King Alfor's spirit, and the late monarch provides a secret method to repair the damaged Red Lion. With all five Lions back in play, the the team forms Voltron and defeats the robeast.
