“Version Two Point One”

"Version Two Point One" kicks off a high-stakes heist with a new Stilt-Man delivering a mysterious package for Sidewinder—only for Silver Sable, Black Panther, and a swarm of Moloids to get drawn into the chaos. Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning and illustrated by Renato Arlem, this all-new chapter in the Villains for Hire saga reveals a hidden mastermind pulling strings from the shadows, with Patrick Zircher's cover capturing the tension of a world where villains are just one job away from a paycheck.

The new Stilt-Man is serving as a courier to Sidewinder, but Misty Knight sends Silver Sable to try and stop the theft; failing that, Black Panther catches her in the subway, but the package is being received by Moloids and one of the Mole Man's monsters; Hellstorm helps the Panther defeat the creatures while Paladin captures Sidewinder. None of them are aware Purple Man is running the operation as Villains for Hire, with Headhunter helping him recruit new followers.
