The story was originally published in the vertical Infinity Comics format on Marvel Unlimited, where it ran as Venom: Original Sin Infinity Comic (2024) across eight digital chapters debuting in September and October 2024. Written by Steve Orlando with art by Scott Koblish and Matt Horak — colored throughout by Yen Nitro — the series was created exclusively for Marvel's digital subscription platform before being reformatted and collected into a single oversized print issue released on May 28, 2025, with a cover by Clayton Crain and an additional variant by Koblish. Jordan D. White served as editor, continuing his long tenure overseeing the Venom line.
