“Circle of Four [Part Five]”

Part five of Marvel's 2012 "Circle of Four" crossover event, this issue finds Venom in a hellish urban landscape, the symbiote's distinctive white spider emblem glowing at the center of a battered, battle-worn figure crouching forward with unmistakable intensity. Stefano Caselli's cover work captures the brooding menace of the moment beautifully, with a smoldering, fiery cityscape looming in the background. Rick Remender and Lan Medina continue their run on the series, making this a solid chapter in one of 2012's more ambitious Venom storylines.
