Vanish #8

Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman's Vanish delivers another striking entry with issue #8, and the cover by Ryan Stegman and JP Mayer makes an immediate impression — a powerfully built, white-masked figure strides forward through a grimy alleyway, massive black tentacles splayed wide behind him like a grotesque crown, streaked with blood. Laser-white beams cut through the darkness from his eyes, and the whole image pulses with a menacing, otherworldly dread that Sonia Oback's moody color work only intensifies. If this series has been on your radar, this cover alone is a compelling reason to pick it up.
