Vampirella versus the Superpowers #2

Vampirella looms large against a twilight sky, bat-wings spread wide and claws at the ready, while a young woman in a red headband crouches alertly on the ledge below her — the two figures framed against a brooding gothic cityscape that sets a wonderfully atmospheric tone. Jae Lee's cover work here is moody and precise, capturing an uneasy alliance (or confrontation) with quiet intensity. Dan Abnett, Pasquale Qualano, and Ellie Wright continue their 1948-set crossover saga in this second issue from Dynamite, and if the cover is any indication, the tension between these two characters is only just beginning.
