Vampirella #9

Dynamite's 2011 run of Vampirella reaches its ninth issue with a hauntingly atmospheric cover by Jelena Kevic-Djurdjevic, depicting the crimson-costumed daughter of Drakulon rising from a pool of blood-red water, heavy chains looming in the shadows behind her. Her clawed hands and intense, forward gaze give the image an air of barely contained power — dangerous, seductive, and thoroughly captivating. With Eric Trautmann scripting and Fabiano Neves on interior art, this series continues to treat Vampirella with the stylish gravitas she deserves.
