“We're Moving On”

In "We're Moving On," Sonia is shaken by the sudden fall of her father down the stairs, a moment she witnesses only through a fleeting glimpse of a shadowy figure fleeing down the hall—possibly one of the two strangers Ian brought to the isolated island. The next morning, a battered sailboat crashes against the rocks, and Ben risks his life to rescue the man clinging to it. Art by Julio Vivas, this issue captures quiet tension and isolation in a story where every step forward feels like a question.

After hearing a cry, Sonia rushes to discover her father has been pushed down the stairs. Having briefly seen a figure running down the opposite corridor, Sonia believes it must be one of the two strangers Ian brought to the island. The next morning, a frail sailboat is being dashed against the rocks. Ben swims out to save the man in the boat.
