Candy has nothing to lose, but manages to win big at Brett Dickson's new casino. Afterwards, Brett nearly drives into a boy and panics that he has killed the child. He is angry that Candy sees him in that state and leaves her to go to his hydrofoil. He then dares her to join him if she wants, but promises she will regret it.
