Polly is crushed that Jimmy told his crippled fiancée that he still loves her, even though he tells Polly that he loves her. Jimmy claims he did it so Katy would go through with the operation that could give her a chance of a real life again. Then Katy confronts Polly and tells her she will never let Jimmy go.
