Valentine #19 January 1974
"Lesson in Love" in Valentine #19 (January 1974) captures a poignant moment in Lindy and Tom’s relationship, sparked by a dance, a misstep, and a lesson in humility. When Lindy’s pride leads her to reject Tom for a more polished suitor, a series of events forces her to confront her own arrogance—and the depth of her feelings—after a painful accident leaves Tom injured. A 60p comic in 1974, this story quietly builds emotional weight through small, honest moments, showing how love often finds its way back not through grand gestures, but through quiet forgiveness and second chances.
