Sir Henry tells his fellow scientists that Nagana can restore the evil Athor to life, but she warns that they might not be pleased with him. Rising from the dead, Athor displays the sacred ruby, which one of the scientists wants badly, and it costs him his life. When Kalkor appears and fights with Athor, the ruby falls to the floor; Nagana grabs it and vanishes, an act that will unleash a terrible demon unless the ruby is returned to Athor.
