Usagi and allies battle Jimmu's forces. Usagi slays Jimmu but Inuyoshi is fatally wounded. Iuyoshi gives his sword to Yukichi to replace the one he destroyed, then dies. Yukichi refuses to accept payment for the bounty on Jimmu. As usual, Stray Dog feigns coldheartedness, but privately takes care of Isamu, bringing him to the orphanage that he invests his bounty money into.
