Gen and Stray Dog are hunting for Lord Higashi's stolen swords. Usagi helps the duo fend off several bands of ronin; each time one particular ronin survives and runs away, then returns with reinforcements. Finally they reach Lord Higashi, only to learn the swords the bandits had were fakes; Kitsune stole the swords, gave the fakes to the ronin then sold the real swords back so she could collect the reward.
